Who doesn't like chocolate brownie cake? And if you are a fan of this combination then you are at the exact right place 🤝
The recipe serves about 7-8 people. So, if you wanna make it for less people or if you're being a little mean and don't wanna share it with anyone else😉 you can just half the ingredients I mentioned!
So, without further ado let's get into the recipe..
Ingredients:
4½ cups All-purpose Flour
3 cups Sugar
1 cup Cocoa powder (unsweetened)
1 cup Vegetable Oil
3 cups Water
3 tsp. Baking Soda
½ Salt
3 tsp. Vanilla Extract
METHOD (for oven)
- Preheat oven to 175 degrees Celsius
- Grease a big baking pan, of any shape of your choice with vegetable oil and flour (In this recipe I have used a rectangular pan but you can use whatever you want)
- Take a large bowl and combine together all-purpose flour, cocoa powder(unsweetened), baking soda, salt and sugar.
- Add vegetable oil, water and vanilla extract.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake the batter for 1 hour.
- Remove the pan and let it cool down for roughly 10 minutes.
- Garnish with chocolate flakes of your choice (Here I have used a mixture of Dairy Milk and Mily Bar), I have also put some Hershey's chocolate sauce on top for the extra creaminess.
METHOD (for microwave)
- Follow the same list as above except put it in the microwave oven for about 10-15 minutes (keep checking in between)
TIP:- For knowing if your cake is fully baked, take a toothpick and put it fully into the cake, if the toothpick comes out to be clean your cake is baked. If not, you need a little more minutes of baking.
Also, don't over-mix the batter.
HAPPY BAKING! ♥️
